• World Development Indicators - World Bank data on agriculture, economy, debt, health, infrastructure, technology, trade, and more. 
• Environmental Indicators - Organisation for Economic Development and Cooperation (OECD) data compendium on major environmental trends in OECD countries.
• National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) -  U.S. agency with large troves of environmental science data, including climate data through National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) and marine data through National Oceanographic Data Center (NODC).
