General guide for all Psychology classes; geared towards students in Psych 250


This guide is for all Psychology students, but is designed for those taking Psych 250 General Experimental Psychology (all sections).  

It can be used as a companion guide to the library instruction session Psych 250 students participate in once during their class. 

One of the key LEARNING OBJECTIVES of Psych 250 is INFORMATION LITERACY. These include, but are no means limited to:  

  1. Information retrieval through library databases 

  2. Use of abstracts and research journals

  3. Evaluating sources
