OneCard

The OneCard serves as your ID :

  • It has both a picture of you and a magnetic strip that identifies you;
  • To enter the CUNY campuses and libraries, you will need to either present your OneCard to a security officer or swipe/tap it at a turnstyle.

The OneCard serves as your library card:

  • On the back is a barcode linked to your library account through which you will check out library materials;
  • The barcode is used online to access MyAccount;
  • Your barcode is also your password (until you change your password in MyAccount).

The OneCard is linked to a monetary account:

  • You may deposit into the account online or by using kiosks throughout the Hunter campuses.
  • You charge against the account for printing, copying, and library fines.

Don't leave home without your OneCard!

You may visit the OneCard Office in Room 126, just off the lobby of the Main Hunter campus west building.
