Library Day

An annual celebration of research, scholarship, and the work of library faculty, staff, and students.

Annual Library Day Celebration

Each year we celebrate research and scholarship at our Library Day celebration in April. Here you will find the lists (from 2015-2019) of the faculty publications honored at the event. The books now reside in our Special Collections at the Cooperman Library.

Additionally, we will post the names of the student contest award winners.

For 2020 and 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we decided to shift the focus of Library Day to celebrating the accomplishments of Library Department staff and faculty. In moving to remote work in March 2020, our department has continued to offer excellent service, assistance, and instruction to the Hunter College community. We are proud of our work, and we invite you to share in our celebration of the hardworking folks of the Hunter College Libraries.
