A general guide to get you started with research in Dance.

Arnhold Collection

The Arnhold Collection of the Dance Education Laboratory at Hunter College is a collection of print materials covering the topics of dance and dance education. You can find these materials on the 4th Floor of the Leon & Toby Cooperman Library.

The Arnhold collection is non-circulating, which means the materials cannot leave the library. However, you can make copies or scan pages as needed while you use them. Scanners are located on the 4th Floor and are free to use; copiers are located throughout the library and the cost is 10 cents per page for students.

Dance books and reference materials can be found by searching OneSearch and limiting your search to Reference Resources, or Books. You can also browse in the call number range starting with GV1580 on floor B1.

Many excellent books and reference materials are now in e-book format. The first two on the list below are available in print and electronic formats for your convenience, and can be found via OneSearch.
