How do I ... GET HELP IN PERSON?

  You can get in person help from a librarian at the Cooperman Library, the Brookdale campus or at the Silberman Building during these LIBRARY HOURS.

You can also contact a librarian at any time for help via Ask A Librarian.

How do I ... SCHEDULE A ONE-ON-ONE MEETING WITH A LIBRARIAN?

 You can look up and contact a library faculty member through the LIBRARY DIRECTORY.

You can also fill out this form to SCHEDULE A RESEARCH CONSULTATION if you are not sure who your liaison is.

How do I ... GET SPECIALIST HELP?

What is a library liaison?

A library liaison is a subject specialist who has been assigned to partner with your department. These liaison librarians all have education and experience working with your discipline, and can help you with all manner of things. For example, a liaison librarian can...

  • assist with research for grant applications

  • teach a class on proper research skills or citation tools such as Endnote or Refworks.
  • create a course specific subject guide, much like the one you're reading now. 
  • help you track your citations, so you know who is citing your work.
  • help you create an effective library assignment to evaluate your student's research skills.

How do I ... KNOW WHO'S CITING ME?

Google Scholar is one of the simplest tools you can use to track your citations. The most basic method is to simply search for a specific article in google scholar. You will a get a results screen like the image below. Simply click the "Cited by" link to see all of the articles that have cited you!
