About the Collection

The Juvenile Collection is a circulating collection, you are allowed to borrow these books. This collection is separated into fiction and non-fiction. The fiction section is organized by grade level.

In this collection, you can find:

  • Picture books
  • Chapter books
  • YA Fiction
  • Poetry
  • Biographies

This collection is open to all Hunter students, staff and faculty but might be of particular interest to those are interested in children's/juvenile literature, picture books, YA fiction, etc.

The JV collection is located on the 1st floor of Cooperman library. When you enter the library, you are on the 3rd floor and can take the elevators or the stairs to the 1st floor.

Exiting the stairwell or the elevators on the 1st floor, the collection is on the left, across from a study area.

Items in this collection can be borrowed for 16 weeks with two renewals, for a total of 48 weeks.
