The Nurses Writing Project is a free writing assistance program available to all HBSON students. Students can e-mail their written work and requests 24/7 and receive a mentor’s response within 72 hours, or request an in-person coaching appointment. We use a combination of Socratic questioning to encourage critical thinking, external resources for students to use to improve their skills, and no direct changes to students' papers to encourage their own personal growth. Common Areas of Focus include grammar, APA format, paper organizing/outlining, and second language writing concerns.
