While history courses each have their own unique focus, there are some general principles that apply to almost every history class in terms of research.

Primary and Secondary Source Databases

To find databases with primary sources, go to the Hunter Library page, click on Databases, click on Type, and then click on Primary Sources.

For databases with secondary sources, go to the Hunter Library page, click on Databases, click on "Subject" and then scroll down to the various history pages which list databases specific to different fields of history.
