Recommended Databases for Nutrition Research
- Web of ScienceDatabase of literature in the sciences, social sciences, and humanities, including proceedings of international conferences, symposia, and seminars. Includes Social Sciences Citation Index. Allows for powerful citation searching.

- PubmedThis is an excellent place to start your nutrition research. It has a very straightforward simple search, and a very powerful advanced search.
- CINAHL This link opens in a new windowEven though this is primarily a nursing database, the Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature lets you search over 40 important nutrition journals.
- Wiley InterScience - Food Science and TechnologyThis is an excellent resource for browsing online books and journals. It can be especially helpful if you're not sure what you want to research. Browsing through the nutrition collection here will let you see what kinds of current research are being done, and could give you some interesting ideas.
